This site is a tribute to Bill who passed away at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital on 19th November aged 90 years. Beloved Husband of the late Margaret, devoted Dad to Janice, Christine and Alison, much-loved Grandad and Great-Grandad. Bill will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

The funeral service took place at Christchurch Parish Church on Wednesday 7th December with Mr Christopher Howell officiating. The hymns ‘Be Thou my vision’ and ‘How great Thou art were accompanied by the organist Mr Robin Jones.

The service was followed by committal at the Forest of Dean Crematorium. The music on entry and on recession from the crematorium was ‘One day like this’ as recorded by Elbow.

The bearers were Daniel Evans, Lee Roberts and Damien Hamm (grandsons).

The funeral arrangements were carried out by Ernest Heal & Sons, 5 South Road, Broadwell, Gloucestershire, who are collecting donations for Great Oaks Hospice which would be sincerely appreciated.
